- ResolvedResolved
All .de domains have been successfully restored. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by this incident and according to our registrar, countermeasures have been taken to prevent this from happening in the future.
- IdentifiedIdentified
Due to an internal process, an error occurred on 01.03.2025 during the automatic renewal of approx. 850 .de domains. As a result, these domains were temporarily inactive. After intensive coordination with our provider and DENIC, a solution was worked out immediately.
We will start tomorrow, 05.03.2025, to restore every affected domain - free of charge for the customer. They will then be fully available again. Please note that the restoration process may take some time due to the high manual effort involved.
- MonitoringMonitoring
After yesterday's discussions with our provider, we are working together on a solution for the domains affected on 01.03.2025.
We have submitted all the necessary information and are in contact with DENIC together with our provider.
IMPORTANT: All affected domains are still in the redemption phase and are not permanently lost.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
- IdentifiedIdentified
According to information from our registrar, the affected domains have been deleted. Our registrar is in contact to arrange for the domains to be restored. As it is a weekend, processing may be slightly delayed. The exact circumstances are still being investigated.
Important: All affected domains are in the redemption period (30 days). This means that no domain is permanently lost and all can be restored.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
- InvestigatingInvestigating
We are currently experiencing an issue that affects all .de domains. Due to an unknown error on the side of our registrar, all .de domains have entered RGP (Redemption-Grace-Period), which should only occur in case the domain is not renewed. This is clearly not intended and there is no need to renew the Domains!
We have already reached out to our registrar to address the situation and are actively working towards a resolution.
